New business:
· Carl Johnson reviewed some of the previous notes regarding sealing of the blacktop. It was decided that Paul Gasser and Steve Gebhardt would look for asphalt oil could be used to seal the blacktop instead of using an asphalt emulsion.
· Discussion was held regarding the renting of the building to both members and non-club members. We reviewed the current building use form of the City of Tomah. We will create a “Building Use Form” to be discussed in our November meeting. It was decided that Ronda Zingler would be allowed to use the building on 10/10/09, 10/11/09 and 10/12/09 on a trial basis. We would ask for a $400.00 deposit and a charge of $125.00 to use the building.
· Discussion was held regarding contacting other sportsman’s club to determine if there would be an interest in seeking a group rate for insurance to see if we could lower our current policy costs. It was decided that we will table this suggestion until our November meeting.
· Thank you notes were read from the families of Larry Mittlestadt, Marlyn Kemnitz, Vern (Babe) Gebhardt, Nicky Kruska, along with thank you notes from DAV Transportation Fund and the Tomah Fire Department, and the Boys and Girls Club of Tomah for the donations we provided.
