TWSA BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING JULY 13, 2009
Board Members Present: Curt Gibeaut, Marty Neas, Marlyn Kemnitz, Carl Johnson & Mike Borchers
Board Members Absent: Brian Pedersen & Paul Gasser
Secretary Report:
Carl Read the report, Curt made a motion to accept as read, seconded by Marlyn. Motion carried as read.
Treasurer Report:
Marlyn could only report what was in our checking account due to the bank audit and the statements were not sent out.
Old Business:
Schell Shoot: We had 110 shooters for the 28 target course and 24 shooters for the smoker round.
Shotgun: Trap House thrower has been repaired.
The Euchre Card Party on June 27th had 15 players. It is a fun time and everyone is welcome young, old, members and nonmembers are welcome.
New Business:
Shotgun:
Shooting is going well with a good number of shooters on Tuesday night. Shooting goes from 6PM to 9PM.
Archery:
Shooting is starting to pick up on Thursday evening. Shooting starts at 5PM until dark. We will still have the 3D targets out until the Broadhead Shoot at the end of August. Broadhead targets will go up in the middle of August.
Club Events:
A postcard with the upcoming events will be sent out to members. Curt will take care of this.
The next Card Party date is set for July 25th at 7PM at the Clubhouse.
The Cranmor Shotgun Shoot is August 11th. Bring a dish to pass.
The Club Picnic is August 15th. Please bring a dish to pass. Beverages and tableware will be provided and we will be eating around noon.
Miscellaneous:
We have shirts, jackets and caps with the club logo to look at and order forms are available.
Carl will contact the Fisherman Night Out Committee to see if they want to be present when we go through the list for donations.
Carl brought up housekeeping at the clubhouse. Who will do it and when will it get done, weekly, biweekly or monthly? This will be discussed at the next meeting.
